With the exception of the 'Leonidas bust' which is located in the Archaeological Museum in Sparta, the statue which has fascinated the student/enthusiast of Spartan history is that of the 'Cloaked' or 'Draped Spartan warrior'. Terry Barkley has been kind enough to forward the materials of this famed object which is located in Connecticut's Wadsworth Museum. The photographer of the statue images is Joseph Szaszfal of Branford, CT.
Since very few artifacts remain from the Battle of Thermopylae, objects from different museums will be posted to show the arms and armor which were used before, during and after the Greco-Persian Wars era.
