Dr. Nic Fields' distinguished career includes the position of Assistant Director
at the British School in Athens and later as lecturer in Ancient
History at the University of Edinburgh. He has written extensively on ancient Greece and Rome, of which several titles include Ancient Greek Warship: 500-322 BC, Troy c. 1700-1250 BC, Mycenaean Citadels c. 1350-1200 BC, etc. In addition to these books on Ancient Greece, he has written Thermopylae 480 BC: Last Stand of the 300.
