One of the goals of this website from its
inception was to raise awareness of the Leonidas Expeditionsand
its objectives. However, as a result of many of the comments received from parents, teachers and their students, it has been decided to expand the site to include more materials on Thermopylae (Thermopylai) and other battles of the Greco-Persian Wars. Many thanks are extended to the following individuals whose
